About us
Our story
Haiku Ken is a small kennel in Donja Trnava, near Niš, in Serbia. We have been breeding since 2011 and are registered with the FCI under kennel number 5418. We keep two breeds, the Akita and the American Akita.
We breed rarely and keep our numbers small. So far one litter has been born here, and four of those dogs now live with other owners. We would rather follow a few dogs well than produce many.
Our females include Haiku Go Haiku Ken, an Akita born in 2021, and My Karizma Of Haiku Ken, an American Akita born in 2024. Alongside them live Redient Universal Soldier, born in 2025, and three young American Akita males born in 2026: S'Black Jack, Spyker and Steel Warrior Haiku Ken.
If you are thinking about an Akita or an American Akita and would like to know more about our dogs or our plans, please get in touch. We are happy to talk.
